My life is dedicated to traditional printmaking techniques and Japanese printmaking and art techniques. My first contact with this beautiful art language was with Prof. Gorazd Šefran, great printmaker who gave me love and knowledge of printmaking. Later I improved my knowledge also in Spain, in Italy with a great master printer Prof. Armando Martini and my colleague, famous promotor and printmaker Vladimiro Elivieri.
I owe my greatest learning and knowledge acquisition also to my Japanese mentors, leading masters of Japanese mokuhanga printmaking, Prof. Yuki Rei, Prof. Fumio Kitaoka and lithographer Prof. Harumi Sonoyama. They opened the door to the richness of Japanese culture and artistic techniques : Japanese woodcut-mokuhanga, Sumi and other techniques. In combining Western and Eastern art knowledge, I developed my own creative art language. Thanks to all my mentors who gave knowledge and love for printmaking art.
